The Difficulties Of Riding An Unridden Mule

Posted on January 30, 2020January 30, 2020 by Horse Spirit

Mules are often undervalued and deserve more recognition from people because they truly are very special. Mules have inherited the best qualities of both horses and donkeys, by being larger and faster-moving than donkeys but less picky about food and stabling than horses, and cheaper to keep.

They are often considered stubborn and bad-tempered, but mule owners say that this is just a myth because they are usually flexible and adjust to your orders. Unfortunately, mules are sterile so in order to breed them, you will have to start again from the original horse/donkey pairing!

Although they are not as popular as horses mules can be used for various applications such as riding, driving, flight protection, guide, breeding, and training calves. Despite their similarities, mules have anatomical and physiological differences compared to horses and their care requires special consideration.
