The story of this young boy is a little different from all the other stories because usually, young boys who are part of the horse world aspire to be great future riders or showjumpers but this one in the video below likes to be a farrier.
However, it is really great that all these children’s passion for horses will be reflected in the future. Sometimes, when there are not a lot of people who do not practice a certain sport or discipline there is a huge probability that that sport or discipline will not exist anymore.
Take mounted archery for instance. The discipline might go extinct in a very short period of time which is very concerning because it is a great cultural value that might be lost. That is the same thing happening with farriers. Not a lot of people are interested in doing it and it might be really difficult in the future to find farriers.
