Laura Cheshire figured out how to lead her horse after the bridle broke mid-race. Although not many people believed that she would make it, Luara proved everyone that she was a great rider and did what everyone thought was impossible of doing.
It has been a good demonstration of abilities and trust between the horse and the rider! Her bridleless ride has shocked everybody since she was in the track running to the success at max speed, and that is not something you don’t see every day. She had to come up with something very quickly when her bit broke. She figured out how to control her horse, Secret Blend, and keep him safe.
Laura needed to get the reins when the bridle broke because in any case Secret Blend could get trapped and fall. As soon as the other riders noticed what had happened to her, they gave her all the space she needed. The Thoroughbred ran very fast when one of the riders attempted to assist Laura.
She needed to direct him toward the rail, and when she figured out how to do that she jumped off the seat and wrapped one of the reins around his nose.
