There are several horse disciplines but none of them is as unique and hard as reining. Reining is different from every other discipline because the trainer and rider are one and the same whilst in other disciplines, the trainer and rider are usually two different people.
There is required an extraordinary level of communication between the horse and rider. As many of you may know there is a tremendous of commitment and practice in which a trainer will prepare his horses for reining competition. With high flying circles, quick lead changes, 360-degree spins and thrusting stops within their performances, reining is one of the most compelling, exciting and breathtaking equestrian sports to watch.
We must add that this discipline requires very hard work therefore not many parents prefer to send their children to reining classes. Therefore there are only a few kids who made it possible to transform their passion into professional riding.
One of them is a little girl, named Madison who along with her beautiful reining horse has delivered one of the most beautiful performances we have witnessed these days. They look like they are very relaxed and laid back but the truth is that they have put a lot of effort to make it look this way.
Both Madison and her horse deserve an applaud for giving us such an amazing show that we most likely will remember it even after Madison turns into a professional rider because that’s where she is headed.
