The love of a mother is the strongest in the world, it is incomparable to anything else. Whenever you need a shoulder to cry on, she will always be there for you. Mothers provide us with a lot of comfort and safety; every time when something is going wrong in our lives, they will know how to make us feel better and that’s without a doubt. This does not stand true only for humans, but for animals also.
When animals give birth to their children, they will most likely be very overprotective and I am referring to both domesticated and wild animals. You might be surprised, but even if they are totally in love with you as their horse owners, there is a high chance that they will not let you get close to their babies. There are even more surprising cases, for example, the mare horse who gave birth to her foal was kicking her stallion with her legs and did not let him get close to their child.
The pony in the video below is another amazing mum who risked her life for her baby foal. I like to call her a heroine because she is indeed one. This is the story of this mother-daughter duo, Bella and Butterscotch, whose love for each other saved them both from a terrible barn fire. The barn caught fire and the owners did their most to save every animal in there but they weren’t able to get Bella and her daughter Butterscotch out of the barn.
They just waited till the firefighters would come with little hope that they could be alive in the barn. Fortunately, it did not take much time for the firefighters to come in place and manage to save them both until the flames would become even stronger but a very beautiful and emotional thing they saw was Bella blocking the fire flames to protect Butterscotch at all costs.
She really proved to be a great mother and I am more than happy that nothing serious happened neither to her or her beautiful daughter. However, the mother needed to recover and become stronger than ever for her daughter. God bless them both and I wish nothing but the most beautiful life for both of them.
