We are presenting you today with the touching story of a beautiful baby horse called Joy who was born too small. If you can’t imagine just how small he was, by watching the video below you will see that he was so little and skinny that you could easily carry him on his arms, like a baby human.
Although she managed to do fine the first day, it was the second day when things got out of hand and turned very problematic. Poor Joy wasn’t acting normal like all baby horses, she’d spent all of her time laying down while breathing heavily.
Sadly, even Joey’s mother wasn’t fully healthy too by the time Joey was born so it was a difficult situation for both of them. They were sent to the hospital by their owners and even though all the vets were very skeptical, Joey and her mother proved that they were stronger than anyone thought.
After spending three days in the hospital, Joey was doing better, she began acting normal the vets reassured their owners that now she was healthy enough to go back home, but still needed a lot of care. It was very shocking how this story turned out like this and even the doctors can’t explain what happened to her in her first 24 hours of life.
