A video showing a horse climbing a ladder has raised many debates over the internet. The horse managed to do a very risky trick with the help and the instruction of his trainer, but many viewers think that this trick is absolutely pointless and making a horse do things that he doesn’t want to do is completely wrong.
As we know horses don’t have fingers, that’s why he could quickly slip off that top step, particularly when on one leg and fall forward onto that contraption. There are people who think that this is pure abuse and it would only take one fall for that horse to land terribly and be killed because of it.
Whilst there are people that think that the horse looks very happy, healthy and that there are animals who enjoy learning new tricks with positive reinforcement. This is an amazingly high level of training and trust, and the confidence that this horse has is simply wonderful.
Not every horse could do this because it takes not just patience and talent but also to be a right-minded horse. It looks dangerous but this horse clearly knows what he is doing. A Facebook user even said that there are many people who enjoy watching animals perform difficult and unnatural tasks.
