As you all know, humans have 5 senses, sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste and all of them have its importance in life, however, in my opinion, two out of 5 of them have higher importance compared to the others and the two I am referring to are sight and hearing. Can you imagine how difficult would it be for a person to lose either one of the two, especially the first one?
There are a lot of people in the world who have lost at least one of these two senses or even both of them at the same time. They were either born like that or lost their senses on the way. It does not only happen to humans but to animals as well. There are a lot of animals out there that have lost their vision and have had difficult lives given this fact and one of these animals is the adorable baby foal in the video below, with a very unique story.
Beautiful moments like these will be cherished forever. Here we meet Angel, a foal who was blind since birth and abandoned by her owners not long after that. Still a bit unsure on her legs, Angel needs a caretaker and companion who understands what farm living is all about. So, she’s introduced to Little Dee, a mini donkey who is more than ready to take on her role as Angel’s caretaker!
Little Dee will be Angel’s seeing-eye companion for the rest of their lives, and this is the very first time they meet! They seem to hit it off wonderfully, and by the time they’re free to roam the barn together, you can tell Little Dee is already so helpful and protective over Angel as she gets acquainted. We are used to seeing god animals being used for blind people but in this rare case, the guide animal is guiding another animal who simply needs help.
The duo is simply adorable and I am pretty sure that Little Dee with help Angel to live a very beautiful life until the end of her days.
