Strong mare named Emma has experienced the same thing. She lost her baby and it was very devasting to her. She gave birth to a filly named Skittles but unfortunately, she had a very difficult pregnancy and her child could not survive. Emma was fighting for her own life as well, but fortunately, she was able to survive.
Emma’s health took a turn for the better, but as her body healed her heart mourned the loss of her baby. She’d stand against the wall in her stall, her eyes filled with sadness. It was very clear, the impact of her child’s death.
